Question about original Panerai retailer(s)

I was thinking about the Pre V Panerai watches in particular. Did Panerai have a dealer network then, or were they basically a one man show?

As far as I remember from the articles I read earlier, it’s Ferretti, and as you said, it was a show of one person, at least in the days of pre-v.
