It may be an optical illusion, but it appears the the hands on my Asian 111H are tilted slightly away from the dial towards the crystal. I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this.
Thanks,
Joe

It's not an illusion, it's a defect. Take a look at the center of the hands, and you'll notice a sunken silver pin where they are attached. it's the Cannon Pin, which can be replaced with a longer one that will allow the hands to lay flat as they should. An easy way to spot a fake, although easily fixed by any of our very talented modders

Yup, very common on PAM reps with 'short connon pin and hour wheel' issue.
Due to short cannon pin assembly, both minute and hour hands are installed a bit lower in relation to dial.
Rep manufacturers have to slightly lift hour hand so that it doesn't get in a way of a small second hand...and since the hour hand is bent upwards they have to make enough clearance between the hour and minute hands, hence the longer tube on minute hand.

Recessed cannon pin mod will fix that unsightly 'issue'.

Vacuum, RJB, Ziggy, Finepics etc are just some of plethora of modders that could assist you in this particular matter.

cheers,

Thanks guys, I was aware of the canon pin issue, but did not realize that the hands were adjusted to compensate. I thought it was only that the pin would not be flush.
