Question about Cartier Santos BVF

Hello everyone, I have finally received my first BVF Santos 35 mm. I am happy but I have 2 questions. Isn't the white version "whiter"? People always talk about the Floating R. I think this is already the 2nd generation BVF. Can you still see it here? Many thanks to everyone!

Looks pretty white to me Floating R is an old thing I believe. Your watch looks great, enjoy it!

May I ask if you have experienced any issues with the quick release lugs coming loose? It's an issue I had with my one and am considering replacing it on the hope it was a one off

Glad to hear, unfortunately it fell off my wrist and landed on a hardwood floor and now the watch won't run correctly, bit frustrating but looking to buy another as I love the watch
