Hi so sorry to start a new thread but I’m really struggling to find info on this.

I have a datejust ii with an A3235 movement.

Does this mean it’s a decorated 2824 or 2836 movement?

Or is A3235 a movement in its own right?

Any help would be greatly appreciated x x

Oh thank you so much for replying!

I’ve had people telling me it’s a 2824 and others tell me it’s a 2836. I assume that judging by this forum title that ten 2824and 2836 are very similar movements?

I’ve also had people tell me that A3235 is a movement in its own right but I think they’re getting it confused with the SH3235?

2824 and 2836 are almost the same. They come from the same base.
One displays the date and day, the other only the date.

Yes, there is a true 3235 Rolex clone which is SA3235.
