Apologies if this is a silly question ive read some conflicting information on it..
If im not mistaken the last batch of 42mm (392 and 523) gen pam's were almost a couple of mm thinner in case size than their 44mm breathren (just shy of 16mm as opposed to just shy of 18mm).
Ive picked this up from research - ive not owned a 42mm yet. If this is correct did the reps share the same proportions? From initial investigation it appears they were the same thickness as the 44mm cases. PAM guide has them listed as the same 17mm in specs but then make reference to a slimmer case.
I have also found a site claiming the reduction in size of the new 1xxx series 42mm gens is similiar to the 44mm model giving a circa 13.5mm case thickness. As yhere hasnt been many technical "hands on" reviews this has been hard to confirm. Just wondering if anyone had some knowledge in this space?
