Hi guys,

there is a 116515 on the forum on offer I think of buying.
But I never heard about QF before? I know Noob, I know BTF and I know Clean and know they all make pretty decent Daytonas.
But what about QF? I cannot even find anything about them online anywhere :D

I've had the same issue. I really like the way the QF is spec'd out, but I can't seem to find details on the forums about QF build quality, and much less the RG 116515.

QF makes a very good 116519 in meteorite. Their other references although good, are inferior to CF & BTF. Not all TDs source them

I'm also in the market and it seems QF can be hit or miss. A few people have recommended them but I saw one for sale and frankly, the dial looked like mother of pearl.

Funny you should mention mother of pearl because with some of the meteorite dials I've seen in pictures, that's the first thing that came to mind. I will say this: Those on this forum who have purchased them verified that it's a real meteorite.

It's a natural stone so the the pattern and color will vary.

Absolutely. There's one in Namibia that basically looks like a big brown rock. The lady there said it can look very different when it's sunny. I work with diamonds and gemstones and the variety of just an opal around the world is beautifully staggering. To own and look at a piece of something that isn't from our planet is pretty amazing, but I'd like it to be as close in texture, color, pattern etc... to the few I've seen on gen Rolexes.

But that's the challenge. Rolex sources that Namibia meteorite and that's why their dials look so good.

I want to purchase the QF but many TDs are pushing NOOB (theonewatches). Both source a real meteorite dial. It may be the same source. I don't know. Based on the pictures I've seen, QF has some pretty nice dials.

I've also seen BUFF dials swapped onto BTF base watches ($1220-$1280 depending on the WeChat seller). Some BUFF dials are nice and some not so much so. Quite frankly the QF and NOOB look as good if not better than some of the BUFF dials. My humble opinion anyway.

QF definitely the way to go with meteorite. The pushers are the weakest part, but everything else good. IMO, waste of money going the modded route, the price you spend you can almost get another daytona!

It's a tough decision when returns aren't easy. Video qc at the minimum imo

Looks great. Are the subdial and second hands black?
