Is sead doing anything else besides a movement swap?

Only waterproofing;)

He did a comlete relume on a 026k, and the result is amazing. Also lifted the dial a bit and its more deep now, per gen. I was thinking to do the same with the 176 as well, bit this will be my first "simple" and Ti PAM, so might not like it afterall. And I'll never get that back...

i have a similar one with rubber strap inbound also and am looking forward to it....thanks for posting the QC pics....

i know the crown "issue" really bugs the hell out of a lot of guys but since a vast majority or people where i live and work have never seen much less heard of panerai watches so no one ever makes a negative comment regarding the crown

most folks want to know more about the brand.....funny thing is 4 different guys at work who are certified watch nuts and do wear gen pams every now and then in their edc rotation were very complimentary of the 177L i wear which is rotated with gen panerais and several other homage and rep panerais as well as other brands of gens and reps....i eventually told each of them privately at seperate times the 177L was a rep and their jaws dropped...literally dropped their jaws to the floor....all but one of them have now ordered a rep or two not only of pams but of other brands and i see them sporting various reps all the time now...the one hold out is now interested in building his own pam reps...and not one of them brought up the crown or other "flaws"...

its "funny" how the little details we obsess over and fret about regarding pam reps are basically invisible so to speak to a vast majority of the general population...

enjoy your 176M whether you leave it "au natural" out of the box or have it modded to the max or somewhere inbetween....

a friend of mine give a lot of compliment to my rep IWC Top Gun as well
He has a couple of gen watch AFAIK, Panerai, IWC Portgueses, Omega moon watch, etc..

With some modding (might be a gen dail from Concepta), it can totally full the professional pawn shop as well.

truth be told, if one can spot your rep, either he is a watchmaker if not a rep buyer himself.
