Qc Pics Latest Pam 288k From Lay

I've been waiting a while for another Pam that I really liked, and from all the recent reviews and pics on here and Repgeek I decided to pull the trigger and buy from Lay, and he has even waterproofed it to 30m. I have to say his communication, qc pics, and YouTube video have been a superb experience, hopefully it will arrive before Christmas.

I can't wait to receive it, just need to get me a decent strap for it but there doesn't seem to be many places that sell 27mm/20mm. Maybe I should have bought it with the strap upgrade.

I didn't go for the strap upgrade, maybe someone can point me in the direction of where I can get a strap for it, as I'm have no joy. Just looking for oem style, nothing fancy.

I loved the photos of this new PAM 288 and it seems like it will be more than worthy of a really nice strap so I started thinking (always a dangerous thing- or should I say always an expensive thing). Anyway its a chrono and I'm such a racing fanatic I got to wondering how I might be able to get a "racing look" out of it. I have a carbon strap on my PAM and I love it but I wanted something leather and thick so I went looking...

Then I found this:

On gunny's blog and I loved it! I asked him if he could change the coloring and he was kind enough to agree.

The strap is in build phase right now which is fine bc I don't have the 288 yet anyhow. I suspect it's going to be a slamming combo, but it could look totally wrong. I've been told that I am sometime wrong, never uncertain. :lol: We'll see. I promise to post photos when they both arrive.

Have u got any pics of the strap yet? What Type of strap is it, and if you don't mind me asking how much.

Well I got my tracking number from Lay, so this Baby is on the way, will post some pics when it arrives. Not have much luck in finding a 27/20mm strap, I believe that the gen croc upgrade is quite small in size, and uncomfortable to wear for those with large wrists, so hopefully a few of these might come up forsale soon.

Heroic18 sells 27/24 straps for Rads, IIRC. Not a fan of the 27/22 taper myself, honestly.

Even 27/26 or 26/26 works on Rads, IMO. I've used those sizes as well.

You can ALWAYS go custom and get whatever taper and lengths you want...

Cheers for the reply hooligan, I've been on nearly all sites for strap makers, tbh I don't really know what the exact size my wrist is but it small. I really do like the idea of the clasp, so will probably have to go with the 27\20 mm size strap, as I just don't suit a big buckle, and it's uncomfortable too.
I've just read another review on rwg, and it says the standard strap that it comes with is an improvement. But do think I will go for a custom croc

Btw I've noticed that Tony has these at an excellent price also, I know he's not a trusted dealer here, but I have used him before and received excellent service.
