hi everyone...i am on the brink of approving however i was not sure. the distortion in the cystal looks bad however i dont know if its just the angle and if this is typical. the bottom letters seemd tall me to where it says SWISS. the alignment looks fine to me

i also cannot tell if the sandwhich dial is there

lastly....the little hole on the crown near where the lever pivots...is that just in the image or is that hollow? it clearly is a diff color but again not sure. can you help with the qc of this.

pamlovaboriholly this watch is very nice. That is just distortion from the angle of the photo. It is a sandwich dial, and that hole is the pin that holds the lever arm in place and is not solid, I would ask for another pic as it is supposed to be solid. But maybe another PAM expert can weigh in on this rep.

As Ralphy mentions, it's a nice looking watch and the distortion is from the crystal you see. However, anytime you're uncertain about something, best to ask the TD to provide you a couple more pictures for clarification as it's you who will need to accept or reject the pictures and the watch.

Re: sandwich dial, ask for a closer picture showing the dial straight on and at an angle to be certain.

That hole in the CG you mention of is the pivot pin, you should ask for another set of pictures showing a closer image of the CG to see if it has a concave end or flat head or something else.

I hope you don't mind me posting these but here are two thumbnail examples of what you should ask for:

First off, did you purchase it from a TD? If that's the case, the question of whether it is an actual sandwich dial shouldn't be a concern. But if you want to make sure, ask the TD about an angled picture of the dial. Although if you look at the ends of the hour markers, the tip of the inner end of the 6, the left side of the 1 at "12", you can make out shadows. Distortion is unavoidable, that's to be expected. Even in the best aftermarket crystals there is some distortion. As for the pivot, the top of the pin is convex at the edges, hence the bright ring at the left of the circle. It is certainly not hollow. If you bought it from a TD, one of those things that should not concern you. All in all a good specimen of the PAM127.

You don't have a dilemma there. The 112 is most likely out of stock while the 111 is still being produced.
