QC: PAM 382 - 28 or 31 jewels?

Yo -

So looking through the QC photos and stumbled across a puzzling question: 28 or 31 jewels? Our friendly Gen PAM manufacturer has a photo of the back with 28. A google of the watch, even on some reputable Gen sites, has instance of 31 jewels. Naturally, a couple of hypotheses:

1. They changed movements during the run of 1000, one with 28, the other with 31, and perhaps others out there
2. The 31 jewel examples are fake other than Gen

If 2 is correct, well, there be a lot of them out there. Which is interesting.

Unrelated to my question: the watch looks great, the TD has been fast and responsive, and I wouldn't be this far along without the RWI team. Merci!

382 came with a p9000 movement which has 28 jewels
The later p9010 movement comes with 31 jewels

In the rep world the clone p9000 is often labeled as p9010 as their functions are the same. This is the case with many many VSF reps - 968, 1616, 1661 etc. The two movents offer the same functions: flying hour hand in pos. 1 and time set in pos 2.
However their apperarance is different. Different position and appearance of the ballance wheel beeing the most obvious tell.
