QC help - incomplete plating on crown or reflection?

I can't tell if there is incomplete plating on the raised letters or if it's just a reflection in the photo. Any help would be appreciated.

It looks like a shading from the camera to me.

I vote reflection, that whole bottom edge including lugs is strongly lit up, if anything the right hand lug looks even brighter

I requested another photo.

For clarification, I'm referring to the gray area on the lower straight part of the "B."

Requested more photos from TD. They responded by saying they were going to get another piece from the supplier. Maybe it really was worn through during polishing.
