QC Help for first timer: VSF Omega Planet Ocean “Tai Chi”

First time ever so please help this noob! Posted this originally on Reddit, but didn’t get much response. So hoping you guys can help me here! Would y’all green light this?


1. Dealer name: Jtime

2. Factory name: VSF

3. Model name (& version number): Planet Ocean 600M 'Tai Chi' GMT 43.5mm VSF A8906 Super Clone

4. Price Paid: $468

5. Images: link below

6. Index alignment: maybe a little off, but could be me not using the alignment tool perfectly or it’s just the picture since some of the other pics looks more aligned


7. Dial Printing: looks good

8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: looks good

9. Hand Alignment: looks good

10. Bezel: looks good except the “4” in 14 looks Bold compared to the rest

11. Solid End Links (SELs): no space seems solid

12. Timegrapher numbers: seems perfect?

Every rep will have flaws, just what you can live with.

The bezel alignment could be just that it’s turned slightly. If the bold “4” in 14 bothers you, then RL it.

There were two of these watches for sale in M2M recently so do a search for those posts and compare the photos to your QC photos.

It looks like the bezel was off by one click. Ask for the bezel to be rotated to the top dead center and send you another photo.

Anyone who uses that QC alignment tool needs to be slapped with an article on camera photography and distortion and why you'll never get perfect alignment of a 3D watch with a 2D overlay

People still use lines nowadays? That is so 2014 with the Noob Subs. The lines will never line up because of the angle the photo was taken.
