Isnt the purpose to catch something one missed b4 its too late??....anyways I disagree with this new policy on many levels....Its clearly biased in the favor of the dealers and restricts community know-how..Overall this will only result in lowering the quality of watches sold to the members of this awesome forum....too bad for me in this case

if you subject QC pictures to a 45,000 member board you will get 90,000 diff opinions--at the end of the day it is up to you to read and know what to look for and decide for yourself. if you don't know what to look for yourself...how do you know it is wrong? please yourself--it's your money and you are the one wearing it.
What do you think will happen when I post "After I got it pics" wont I get all the 90000 opinions, And realize what was overlooked????
Case and point...The watch above has a very serious defect but can be very easily overlooked.
Wow, both these opinions make complete logical sense. I don't know who to favour, but I somehow think dloader's argument makes more sense. Anyway, rules are rules.
On the same lines, how would it feel if we missed something in the QC pics, received the watch and then found a flaw ourselves once we get the watch in person? QC pics are very limited and don't always highlight everything about the watch. They're pictures after all taken from a few angles, and highlighted to bring out the best in the watch. Only a QC video would do more justice than the pics, but then that's asking too much. Just my two cents.
