QC - Can i ask for help?

Hello friends, i have my received QC for the watches I purchased recently, I GLd the submariner, but I have doubts on over the daytona, can I ask for help from experienced members? below is the QC gallery.

Mostly I don't see any tells (I am new, so my judgment is cloudy), but I want to ask for the rehaut check and alignment.

You can ask opinions a specific production defect that you suspect

But you can’t just ask people to do the QC for you.

You are also responsible for knowing the usual « tells » of the rep model. But that’s not a production defect and no reason to RL. If the tell bothers you, you should not have ordered the watch model in the first place.

I totally agree with you, all i wanted is a rehaut check, as I have done my research for the exact model, and seems that the QC I got missed this point.
Moreover, I understand now that I was supposed to be more specific about my request and not just barge in with what I posted.

Loud and clear and thanks for the explanation.
Meanwhile, I think there's a production defect, yet since I consider myself noob, and for the above mentioned reasons I asked for help. Yet I realized now that I wasn't specific and I had to ask a specific question. Which I would really appreciated if I can get an experience eye to take a look at the rehaut printing.

Regarding the rehaut, it appears to be a reproduction of the genuine watch rehaut, which is precisely what you’re paying for.

In seriousness, it looks well aligned, decently polished, and free of specific defects. As Karbon said, tells and defects are two separate things. There are videos on YouTube showing the Clean rehaut compared to gen under a microscope. The gen is going to be more precisely etched and polished than any rep, that’s a “tell.” But the thing is, 99% of people won’t even notice your watch. Of the 1% who do, none of them will be looking at it with a loupe unless you’re trying to sell it. Nobody is going to notice. Nobody.

Keep in mind that most gen owners don’t even know the tells of a high end rep like a Clean or VSF. If anybody notices any tells, it’s almost certainly going to be a fellow rep enthusiast.



Long story short, those images are free of defects. Go ahead and green light this piece and enjoy! And going forward, keep in mind that if you ever do RL a watch, there’s no guarantee that the next one will be better, and might actually end up being worse.

I will say to look out for the glaring mistakes if there is any on the watch (comparing with the website pics from the TD that you bought from)

If there are things like "stick markers out of place", some dust particle you aint sure if its on dial or glass, this can be discussed with the TD via email if needed.
