Q: Is the PAM 372 from ZF as good as the Noob version?

Hi,

I recently caught a Panerai bug again after I got my Noob 111 and KW 292.

So I've been looking for more classic Panerai models that were once popular back in late 2000's and early 2010's, and found out that the PAM 127E Noob and 372O ZF are the ones currently available.

And I read that the Noob version of the 372 is superior to the ZF version, but I couldn't find out about the details.

Are there big differences between the Noob and ZF 372 that the ZF one is much less accurate or reliable than the Noob?


It is hard for us Panerai lovers to grab an older Panerai model that once dominated the rep game back in the day...

The details are in the PAM Bible. ZF is better than Noob in movement only. Everything else favors Noob. Reliability and accuracy are two different concepts. The P.3000 on the ZF is fairly reliable based from the lack of bad feedback on the movement. The A6497 on the Noob is bulletproof but it is inaccurate as it is not a P.3000 clone.

Is it hard to grab an older Panerai model? Yes unfortunately. But keep an eye out on M2M you might get lucky.

Ditto. With a good strap the Noob was basically just as good as my gen - unless you looked at the back. And who does that?

i have a solid engraved back on mine
