All I can say is WOW. What a fantastic piece. The bead blasted PVD finish is great.
The curved AR coated sapphire is massive and lends a fantastic amount of character to the watch. I wasn't sure I'd like the gold hands or the 47mm size, but I do on both counts.
It came with a nice (if a little thinner than I'd like) padded buffalo strap in black with an unmarked brushed SS Pre-V style screw in buckle. Very impressive buckle, actually.
The superlume on the dial and hands is great. In fact, it's as good if not better than any gen watch I've seen first hand.
The solid SS caseback is engraved with what appear to be the correct RXW markings, although I certainly wouldn't know if they were inaccurate, given the low production numbers of the gen, I doubt anyone would call them out.
The crown guard is thick and fits tightly to the case. The lever closes securely and fits flush to the CG when closed. The crown is thick and moves from the closed (winding) position to the time set position with a firm, positive click.
The winding action is silky smooth and the power reserve appears to be about 48 hrs (although I wasn't really paying attention so that might be off a bit).
I'll post pictures when I get back into town. I apologize for the delay.
