On September 19th, 2024 I placed an order with PureTime, as I have done 3-4 transactions with them in the past. I was for sure using the correct web site as my history of purchases was there on the website. I placed an order for an AP Royal Oak Offshore Survivor on a black rubber strap. I placed the order and I waited for 1 month before reaching out. After I asked them for tracking they sent me a USPS tracking from FRANKLIN PARK, IL, the tracking label was created on October 22nd. I then proceeded to wait another 1 month and nothing arrived. I was in constant communication with "Maria" at PureTime. She said there was a delay because of the elections and items were in customs. In late November I asked again for an update and all of a sudden she says it was released from customs and my watch was on its way. On December 11th I checked tracking and it said my watch had arrived, but it never arrived. I then went to the post office and the Post Master showed me the tracking info and an image of the actual label on the box and the shipping label didn't have my name nor my address. They basically sent an empty box to another name and address in my city so it shows like if a package had been delivered in my same city and zip code. The past 2 months I was in constant communication via email with Maria, her e-mail address is [email protected] and the website I placed the order on was puretimewatch88.io

I placed an order through (the wrong website) Puretime for two watches, a Carrera Day Date and a Carrera Calibre in November. I have heard nothing from them. Finally, after dozen or so attemps, I heard back. I paid via bitcoin and Puretime is now denying any acknowledgements of the orders.

This is my first order through them, and I was incredibly skeptical. Turns out I should've went with my gut and now I am out $500. Buyer beware.

Another one...

What exact website did you order from & what email/Whatsapp have you been in contact with.

Well, it turns out I may be wrong on this one.

I ordered via email for the first one, and then through the website for the second one since they sent me an email about a Black Friday sale. The website I ordered from was puretimewatch.net, and was recommended to me by a friend. It turns out in the last year or so they have changed websites and now only have the puretimewatch88.io.

The intial email contact was really good and was from [email protected]. After I placed the order they said they would get back in 3-5 days with shipping information and QC once the unit was sourced. This is when all communication stopped. Eventually, I copied all of the email address listed in there contact info on the forum and got a hold of Maria. I was more suspicious of these emails as they had a lot of typos and grammatical errors. I suppose it turns out that was actually the legit one, and I was scammed on the other one.

Upon further research through the depths of Reddit, it looks like the puretimewatch.net site is a scam site and I'm not alone in a $500 learning curve.
