Purchase w/ Hontwatch, you won't believe what happens next!

Now that I have your attention with the click bait title: This is my first rep watch purchase ever and it was with Hont. I went for the ZF BB58. This is what happened so far:

• Jan 29: 1st contact (was still during CNY break)
• Feb 3: Reply came with payment information , he was catching up with large backlog
• Feb 4: I sent screenshot of bank transfer
• Feb 6: Had QC pictures received and gave a greenlight
• Feb 7: Payment received was confirmed
• Feb 8: Watch sent, tracking number received

So far the communication has been short and concise and straight to the point. That's absolutely fine for me, Germans are known for this style of communication as well

Anticipation is building and I hope to receive the watch soon.

Tldr: all is fine. Can recommend so far

Went for the black. I like the retro look.

The waiting time for a rep is still shorter than with an AD for a gen.

The watch has arrived in Germany and has been handed over to the domestic carrier (Hermes).

Bad timing on my behalf, I'm on a business trip this week and won't be able to receive the watch .

Not that I know, it's pretty much the only rep available if I'm not mistaken. It is a very good rep, there are several threads where you can have a look at pictures.

I’ve heard mixed feelings on this. I have owned the zf bb58 for close to year. And honestly I love it. There are side by side comparisons that show the differences, but to me personally they are acceptable.
I have considered buying the gen, but to me the differences are not enough to justify the price of the gen.

To summarize: All in all, I'm very happy with buying my first rep from @hontwatch.

The process was strange coming to the rep world for the first time, glad it all went well. Now I'm wondering what to get next pretty sure it will be with Hont.
