Hi,

First of all congratulations to your forum as it helps the newbies like me learn very interesting things about reps.

I bought a U-Boat rep two weeks ago from Angus. Hopefully, everything went ok!!! The watch seems exactly as the genuine one. Nevertheless, I have two questions:

1) Three or four times the watch has stopped working while I was not wearing it. That is after my night sleep when I woke up and I got it in my hands in order to wear it I saw that it had stopped. After winding it, it started working again so I didn't pay to much attention. The thing is that I don't understand why this happened 3-4 times during two weeks times and it doesn't happen always as I wear the watch almost the exact same hours?

2) Today I noticed (and that is why I post) that the hour indicator is a bit loose. For example let's say that it is 6:30:00. When i shake my wrist forward or backward the hour indicator will move to the position it will be at 6:30:50 or 6:31:00. In other words it's about one minute loose. Is this "normal"? Have anyone else had the same experience?

Despite the above it is a very good watch and I always try to keep in mind that I spend 300$ instead of 3500$ so as not to get disappointed!!!!

Thank you in advance for your replies.

Is it a handwind...??? If it is than you are supposed to manual wind it...
If the hour hand is loose... you can send it back to angus...

Yes it is wandwind but I didn't expect to "die" once a while. As for sending it back to China I think it's better to keep it this way as I have read in this forum that many people where disappointed in sending back their watches and in many cases they received them worst than the first time.

He posted on 31 so it's not a joke...

If it's a Handwith then it's not an automatic, so how do you expect the watch to keep on working if you don't wind it up manually??
It's very logic that your manual watch stop working...

Only automatic watches will wind themself up when you wear them.
And if you stop wearing them, most watches will stop after 48to72hours maximum (only power reserve watches hold till 8 days).
A lot of rep stops after 24to36hours...

If you don't want any problem of a watch wich stop working, then buy Quartz

nb:
I have 2 gen U-Boat , both Quartz... all the older models were Quartz [smilie=angel1.gif]

I agree on what you say but the thing is that everytime it has stopped in less than 24 hours. Have you noticed on the genuine U-Boat that you have if the hour hand is a bit loose (about a minute) as I refer to my first post?

Congrats for your genuine watches. U-Boat are very beautiful watches!!!!
