About a month ago I ordered A vintage 1675 GMT from Trusty Time.
The good- Communication with Andrew was Outstanding. QC pictures arrived two days after payment.
I accepted the QC within an hour of receipt and the watch was shipped the next day. I received the watch approximately 7 days later(conus, midwest). The mvt. keeps excellent time. The dial is excellent. The date wheel has the correct font and aligns with the dial window perfectly. Dial and hands are nicely aged.
The engraving between the lugs is very gen like. The bad- The riveted bracelet would barely fit a 7 inch wrist adjusted at it's longest. When I went to add a link I found that all of the removable screws were fused and unremovable even after days in penetrating oil and heat.
The Ugly- The bezel spins like it is on ball bearings and will not Accept gen parts. The bracelet clasp code is for a Seadweller and the end link code is incorrect for a 1675.
Being a full time Watchmaker I have corrected/repaired the short comings. Not much can be done About the erroneous codes. Bottom line is I expected more for $358 usd .
I have since found out that this is common for vintage GMT wAtches.
I will not hesitate to buy from Trusty Time again. I feel Andrew is truly a trusted dealer.

Thanks for your support. Unfortunately we have limited factories willing to make vintage as they are not as popular =(

You should definitely consider creating your own build rather than relying on a cartel base watch. Granted it is going to run you a little more in cost, it will definitely be of better quality and closer to gen spec. There is tons of great information in the vintage forums on here for starting out.

That's my plan for the near future. I took what I thought might be a short cut because I have the correct gen movement for a mid production 1675. Thanks for the input.
Best regards
