Pulled trigger on my first rep order, excited!

Hi all,

I am excited to have placed my first rep order for a CF 126710 BLRO with Steve over the weekend. I have been lurking RWI and RepTime for quite some time but I finally decided to get myself a nice holiday treat. I am a little bit bummed that Steve only had V2's on hand, as my sense is the V3S with the fixed bezel insert color is almost NWBIG at this point, but I couldn't wait 6-8 weeks for my present Now I have only refreshed my email 4200 times since I paid for those QC pictures!!

From day 1, I knew that when I finally took the plunge into the repworld, I would only buy from Steve and I am finally happy to be on the wagon!

I got QC pictures last night and I’m going a little bit crazy. I asked on ReptimeQC and one comment said that the DW is too low and a few of the hour markers may be offset. I see it but I can’t tell if it’s just perspective. Would love to hear opinions from others here if possible.

This is cool, you mentioned it's a present for yourself, what's it for? Looks great. What did you think when it arrived? I'm considering buying from him but feedback like this is great if you wouldn't mind sharing!

It was a Christmas present to myself! The watch is absolutely beautiful, I was absolutely awestruck when I opened it. I wear it most days and I legitimately sometimes forget it’s a rep (granted I have never worn a Gen Rolex before…)

Something that I thought was funny in retrospect is stressing out about little QC details like the date wheel being too low or the hour markers not being aligned. I am looking at my watch right now and even if I hold it right up to my face I would never be able to tell. The only thing that I don’t love is the crystal, so may try to swap that for DEEP or for Gen down the road.

I thought Steve was a great TD. He didn’t have the Clean V3 Pepsi in stock when I reached out, but I can’t fault him for that. I am considering picking up a DJ36 this year and I will definitely work with him again once I decide to make my next buy. Cheers!
