Pulled the trigger

After months of browsing RWI and r/reptime, comparing different models, factories and movements, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered my first rep. (Boy am I excited )
A VSF DateJust 41 (Blue Dial, fluted with jubilee) from Hont with shipping to Germany.
Here is how it went so far (will keep you guys updated:
18/2 contacted Hont with all the info and some questions
18/2 got reply and confirmation that watch is in stock + all the payment options
18/2 funds sent (will be completed on 20.02. when it's back to working days)

Keeping my fingers crossed that everything will work just fine

20/2 received QC and GL a few hours later
21/2 hont confirmed payment
23/2 received tracking number

Now it is a waiting game

Was also discussing getting the oyster as it def. looks closer to gen.

Final update:
Watch was received on 02/03 in perfect condition. Here is my take-away:
Communication with Hont was flawless. Yes, you have to wait for his replies but he is a busy man. Make sure to ask for all the info in as few messages as possible. Will def. order again from him.
The VSF looks stunning in person and my photos are unable to show the quality.
Clasp closes precisely and the band is one of the most comfortable watch bands I have worn. The dial, hands and markers are good, although a gen dial would def. add the last few percents to make this watch perfect. The same can be said for the bezel, as one in white gold would be a great update. Nevertheless, I am more than satisfied with how much watch you get for under 500€s.
Before I forget: Now I can understand why so many people praise the VSF xtal as, at least for me, it is flawless. Added one photo but only have a potato camera and taking pictures in sunlight at this time of the year are not possible in Germany.
