Problems with VSF 3235 movement?

I have read on the rolexforum that there has been problems with the genuine rolex 3235 movement.

It seems that it is problem with the lubrication on the seconds pivot!?


The movement is very accurate for a year or so and then suddenly starts to go much slower!


Has anyone had the same problem as in the link above with there VS 3235 (or genuine) ?


My VSF 126610 has been running spot on for 30 days now and the movement has not been serviced.


Can it be so that I was lucky with my movement and that it is well lubricated?


I mean IF the movement runns so well as my is it nessesary to service it?

I had my Starbucks since VSF was shutdown, so about a year and half something. Mine has been very solid with no issue so far. It was running too slow when I first got it. One of the forum member regulated and waterproof it for me. Depending on the weather and watch position it runs within +3 ~ +5 a day. Personally I will not get it service. When my movement fail I'll just get a replacement movement. Hope by then VS movement will be available widely

I don't have this problem neither with my genuine (Build 2020) nor with my VSF (delivered one year ago).

With my VSF I just had the problem that date was not adjustable anymore after 6 months or so ... had to buy an original piece of the movement on ebay for about 70$ and a watchmaker replaced the broken one in the clone movement, now it's fine again!

I have a VSF 126610LN worn every day for a little 2 years now and still super smooth when winding or setting time. Date still flicks +/- 1 min but often flicks at exactly 00:00. SEL fit is still great but the bracelet is a bit worn now.

Can’t say I’m as happy with my new VSF 126610LV though, the date flicks by 1.5 - 2 days when it changes at 00:00 but aesthetically much better build than the old one.
