Problems with swiss 112 movement

I just got a 112H swiss, but sometimes it just stops. Then if I pull the crown out (like when setting the time) it starts running again, or if I reverse-wind it and from then it just keeps running normally.

Any ideas with what may be wrong? btw should this movement hack?

It sounds to me like you need to have the movement serviced/inspected.

No, these movements don't hack.

If you could post some pics of the movement or tell us where you got it from that may help to determine some things. It may be a simple issue of the case clamps not securing the movement, or something worse like a blanace spring being bent, etc.

Pictures and reference would really help.
