Hey guys. Sorry if this was discussed before but I searched the forum to find out and I couldn't find any thread so here it goes.

This is something well known by now with multiple threads documenting the issues people are having with 32xx movements in almost every watch forum on the internet, so I was wondering if clone 32xx movements are having the same trouble.

If they are true clones I see no reason why they wouldn't have the same amplitude problems, but if they don't, maybe clone manufacturers could tell the guys at Geneva what they have done to solve the issues lol

... I'm lost. What exactly are you asking? The only true clone movement of the 3235 is the VS. The others are 3135 clones with 3235 markings.

Well I don't think this is hard to understand. If they are clones they're built with the same specs all over, so if gen 32xx series is currently giving owners headache with multiple visits to the service center only to return with the same problems all over again, clone movement would probably experience the same issues.

Well, the only difference is that the clones don't have free-sprung balances. The clones have conventional springs.

I'm not that savvy when it comes to that, but most 3135 services I have seen have had subpar amplitude, but that also goes with the VR/VS 3135's. The VR3235 is literally a modified 3135.

When it comes to amplitude, even Seiko has low amplitude in their movements. Something that irks the living hell out of me.

Interesting. I didn't know that. Cheers
