problematic watch

Hey guys i have had a datejust 2 for around going on a year now.

In the first few months i noticed when pulling the crown it seemed a bit grindy and needed to be pulled whilst turned to set the time, also when trying to adjust the date it would needed a bit of fiddling as it didnt seem to easily select the date change

Now the watch has stopped working completely and ive noticed that it will start working again if moved around face down, as soon as turned right side up it stops again

I have taken to some local small watch shops and noone is willing to even look at it due to it being a replica

Any help would be much appreciated

It sounds like the keyless works is out of place and needs to be reset. If you search for instructions on resetting the keyless works, you can get a feel for what's involved, and possibly take it on yourself if you're ambitious. I'm not sure if that alone has caused the watch to completely stop; it could be an unrelated issue, but it definitely sounds like the keyless works is at least one of your problems.

Where are you located? Sounds like a number of potential issues ranging from keyless components to a possible cracked escapement jewel.

everything you guys have said means absolutely nothing to me im afraid. i might have to look into atttempting to find a repairer that will look into this

Or, post a few pictures and find out if it's even work fixing.
