This will be too easy for a watchmaker...Will not cost much if you searcg a little..Maybe you were a little unlucky..

I wonder why we have this section "Watchmakers and Horologists" with such unusual names as "Domi's Corner,
subforum_new.gif
Finedd's AR Service,
subforum_old.gif
Francisco's Seminario,
subforum_new.gif
Goin's Watch Lume and Modding Service,
subforum_old.gif
Katt's Watch Repair" to name but a few ...

Maybe it is worth a look? ;)

This sort of 'incident' comes with the rep watch collecting territory, I'm afraid. Get involved with this hobby and get used to things falling off, then take the next step and fix them yourself. I'd never been inside a watch when I joined this forum, but sure enough, the second hand fell off one of mine one day. I read the forum posts, opened 'er up, removed the crown and the movement, stuck the second hand back on, and reversed the whole process. That watch is still going strong. With a couple of jeweler's screw drivers, a decent pair of tweezers, a ball of duct tape, patience, a good light, a loupe, and a steady hand, and you'll fix it yourself--and enjoy a real sense of satisfaction. Give it a try!
