I'm not going to name names ... yet... but I just got an order with two watches from a very well trusted TD here. One that I've dealt with for many orders. The first watch is exactly as per order and has a highbeat 6497. The other was also supposed to have the same movement.

Here is a pic of the timegraph QC pic (cropped out my order#):

The watch has arrived and immediately upon winding I can hear it... so naturally a quick look verifies this. Here is a pic next to my 390 with highbeat, for those that are unfamiliar:

Now I am getting the run-around "we have shipped what you approved" factory does not supply 18000vpm movements anymore" , "please find a timegraph and all will be clear" bla bla bla...

And if that is not enough, the movement is running approx 3 HOURS SLOW per day!!!

I know my watches. I've been modding for many years... I paid full-bloddy-pop for this thing! What am I supposed to do here??

I need some help/advice to get this problem sorted out.

I would use the app "timegrapher" too check the beat rate at my movement. And with that proof I would contact my TD again.

Yes, any of us can see the balance wheel is larger in the low beat movement, but another proof to show to the dealer won't hurt.

Luckily I paid via PP... I suppose there is always 'that' option.

You definitely don't want that "option" without a help desk ticket first...try another attempt with TD to get things sorted.

I am trying multiple attempts with the TD, up the chain of command. Just PM'd the head honcho this morning as he has been decent about replies in the past... lets see what (if anything) he says.

There are many flaws in a rep that I'm happy to live with, and I don't reject QC pics for the little things... but this is not cool.

WTF are you even mentioning PP for?? I see you deleted it but not before you were quoted posting it.

Yes, I deleted it as I don't want to go down that route and I don't want this topic to focus on it... I want a real amicable solution. I want what I paid for, and I am looking for advice from anyone that may have experienced a similar situation and gotten positive results... as my current line of communication with the 'team' on the TD's end is going absolutely nowhere fast. They are sticking to the fact that they sent me what's in the QC pics. They did not, then sent me a total piece of junk!

To be honest, if this watch even just told the f-ing time I could probably choke it down... but 3+ hours slow per day?!? Not seconds or minutes... HOURS!!! with time-setting feeling like chewing gum in the keyless works?!? ... that is a whole teardown/service to fix, if it can even be fixed.

Timegraph QC shows a beautiful movement... so where is it?

Well well well... the plot thickens. This is the same timegraph machine (look at the gross band-aid) that a member on 'another forum' got fake results from. Take a look at the figures:

Welp! Nice find!
The graph looks to be the same.

Not only that, the time on the timegrapher is the exact same. Like theyre taking pics of different watches and photoshopping in the results. Also to get a true reading of a movement, it should be tested for more than 5 seconds, like theyre doing.

To the OP, I have no idea what happened on the TD side, but if your watch is running that slowly its because of the lowbeat balance ticking 6 times per second and highbeat gear train wanting 8. By my math, the difference in beats per day between 18.8 and 21.6 is 67,200... which equates to about 186 minutes or the 3hrs slow you're experiencing.

Is it just me, or do the timestamps on those 2 watches look photoshopped? They look fuzzy in not very natural ways...

Why are you scared to post which dealer it is. That's what we do here, tell each other.

The quality is degraded on the left side when compared to the right side too. So I assume they're both photoshopped.

The watch on the right hand side has most definitely been photoshopped. Check the screen bezel colour above the watch and the jagged outlines on the watch glass. Also the perfect colouring and shading of the silver part behind the watch. You can also see the silver part at the bottom has been shopped. It wouldn't be that clean and then line is bent up towards the left.

Well, I figured I'd try out this fun tool called 'Error Level Analysis' and I think that pretty much confirms that this image was photoshopped. Take a look at this:

Notice how only the blocks over the text itself (and the +001) have weird white fuzziness to them? Generally means it was manipulated. The OP's image shows the same problems.

Take a look at the tool I used here: http://29a.ch/photo-forensics/

OP should release the name of the TD to prevent people from ordering from him until all the issues are resolved, this is way too sketchy. If someone does that he isn't worth to be a TD
