Problem w/ 111n v3 - Crown will not wind

Hi all, just excitedly opened the package from China containing a noob v3 111n. Much to my dissapointment, the crown refuses to go back into a winding position. I was able to give it a full wind. Then I pulled the crown out to set the time. However, I can push the crown back against the case but it springs back to the time-set position. Also, there seems to be a hex nut sticking out of the case where the crown stem is. Is this normal?

I'll post pics when I can.

Sometimes happens with my Noob 177. The fix on mine is to put the hands forwards before locking the crown back down. It only sticks when I have moved the hands back.

Googled this problem and my search has left me to conclude that this is most likely a problem with the keyless works and would involve uncasing the movement and removing the hands/dial to fix. This is well beyond my capabilities and I'm reaching out to CONUS-based watchsmiths to see if they can take the watch.

My TD, by the way, has offered to fix it or reimburse me up to 25 bucks for a local repair. So I might go with the repair if it's an easy fix.

What do you guys think? Easy fix or should I send it back? Since I literally just got it, I'm reluctant to send it back.

Have it fixed locally. To save on the hassle and delay of sending it back and then waiting for it to return is well worth looking into a CONUS based watchsmith.

I've seen that on a few recent watches, seems the stem is too short and will not put down enought presure to enguage the keyless properly

I seem to have this exact problem with a brand new 111 that I just got. But I don't really have anyone local that can work on this? Is this an easy fix or would sending it back to the TD be the best option?

Have the same problem with 111V3 one month old. I push crown back not by fingers (it doesn't work), but by open/close device on crown guard (don't know English name).
But if any one will fix it pls., let us know...
