Price worth paying for a yodog 1675 build?

Hi, first time poster here - so please correct me if I´m doing something wrong, or post in the wrong thread.

There is a guy on BST on reddit that sells a 1675 GMT Master, he told me he bought it from a RWI member. He wants 1400$ shipped.
My question is: is it worth is? Is the price he wants above, under og on par with what I´ll get?

Here are the specs:

- Vietnam 1675 case
- Gen 25-116 Plexi
- Yodog's custom deep scalloped bezel assembly (gen insert snapped right in, no need for shaving or glue)
- Gen FF alumni bezel
- Vietnam MK1 variant Matte Dial -raffles hour, minute hands, seconds and large GMT hand
- Swiss 2636 w/Asian GMT module movement
- Cartel sub DWO with flat 3 and open 6 and 9
- Helenarou movement spacer
- Gen Rolex 503 GMT crown
- Gen Rolex oyster bracelet (folded links)

But that's no VN case, no MK1 dial and most of the rest is missing too of the specs you said.

Its a BP/JKF/Cartel not worth more than $200.

He's trying to scam you. $1400 for a pos worth $200 maximum.

A genuine 7836 alone is nearly worth more than the asking price, and its a rep bracelet btw.

Clearly the case is not VN and the dial is not MK1, I can't tell you about the other parts as I am not an expert, but clearly he is lying with the first 2 parts so probably you should doubt about the remaining parts too.

Np. I saw now on the BST post on reddit a moderator commented "NO NOT BUY", but no more context to it. The guy is selling 5-6 watches in the same sales post.

Looks all standard BP, not Rolex or VN.

I built a 1675 franken a few years back and I'll bet money that's a BP/Cartel case. It's definitely a BP dial with the aged "pill" indices. Acrylic looks to be either a stock BP, or maybe a Clarks. Not a vietnam case or dial. Hands may be raffle as claimed, they don't look like any of the BP hands I've dealt with on their 1675.

As mentioned above, I wouldn't be surprised if this is a modded BP/Cartel 1675.

Appreciate it. The seller claims he did not know this, and are trying to get the real specs of the watch, or what ever... He is not trying to defend the first specs he claimed . I think he got scammed when he bought it.

Appreciate it. The seller claims he did not know this, and are trying to get the real specs of the watch, or what ever... He is not trying to defend the first specs he claimed . I think he got scammed when he bought it.

to cut a long story short :
- a guy gets scamed on Reddit ...
- tries to scam another guy to recoup the money he lost ...
- etc ...
all this done by using/usurping names of skilled and honest modders like @yodog

just stop buying watches on Reddit ...
maybe modders could edit the thread's title to "Is this 1675 build worth the price asked for and is it realy from Yodog"

I've seen lots of newbies recently complaining that they never get straight answers from more established members. No complaints on this one
