PAM 372 N SF v2 edition with cloned P3000 same watch or not ?

Am I a bit confused about the pam372 versions, obviously I am aware that there are A6497 decorated for less money, but I spotted on PT website 372N SF v2 for attractive $268, the same would cost whooping $408 from iT. There is also ver. O ZF 2012 also from iT for 278, which has updated jewels but an older p3000 from 2012 ?

Do you guys know why such a range in prices?

other thoughts...

At some point I want 1950 case and 372 fits my criteria, at 47mm it does not wear as large as 'Fiddy' from what I have read ( on 7in wrist), it has similar 127 Panerai vintage charm, beautifully done movement and simple elegant style, if only parts were available just in case. Most likely if it breaks entire movement will need to be swapped if one can acquire one from AD....not sure if its possible.

But anyways, why such a price difference between 372N ZF's ?

Have a look at ALE guide in the stickies , get to the 372 section, you will get all your answers ( long and comprehensive ones ;)... )...

Of course, you can service any movement. The whole 372 rep world is an eternally confusing one, as not a single maker has really put forward a great rep of this highly desirable piece. Always gives and takes and price disparity mysteries. Nothing makes sense in 372 rep world, although ALE has tried to sort it.

Good question, it's the same watch, SF372 clone V3, $408 at Intime and $268 at PureTime. Looks like a sweet deal here...
Parts for the movement will be almost impossible to get, even a spare plexi crystal is very hard to find.

I am so tempted to pull trigger on one I love the movement, @268 it is well worth it. I should not need new plexi, unless it pops in the plane, that would suck...

PAM 372 is a rep in evolution
There is no perfect version
Noob has the best dial and caseset, but the movement is completely inaccurate
There is no correct version regarding dial and caseset (like Noob) with P3000 Clone movement

Even P3000 Clone4 has finish and accuracy problems. See the brushing in below pic from sujwit here:

My PAM 448 with Clone1 is the same regarding finish, you will not able to admit that after some weeks of looking it

The only way to go is waiting for better versions of a Noob with a P3000 Clone correctly finished

Thanks heaps ALE. The back of the watch isn't the most important thing to me so it seems I should get the Noob for the best dial and caseset.

What is the deal with the clone cannon pinion? Is it just very narrow in diameter?

None of the backs are prefect. That's why I'll go with the one with the best caseset and face.

Any opinions on the new ZF version? Is Noob still the way to go?
