A thread prefix set is now availible in this forum. I´m more of a rolex guy, so please enlighten me on what prefixes we should have. The ones currently present is a wild guess...

Probably for different model's of PAM e.g. 111, 196 etc. as they can't be searched by the model no. alone.

The other idea would be to make general categories, like modding, movement problem, etc.

Not sure I got this right. With case ref. you'll go crazy, too many. Pam+ref number to bypass the 3 digits block, example : Pam127 . Just too many of them imho.
I'd say go with cases common names, size and movements. Some are: Fiddy , Radiomir , 44mm , 47mm , Egiziano , 6497 , Submersible , etc...

40mm and 44mm are very common sizes for watches in general, most sporty models by Rolex are 40mm. I wouldnt use them in Panerai's forum.
I aint sure whether it is case sensitive or not, but excluding 3 digits words and ref., here ya go:

Fiddy
Radiomir
Egiziano
Submersible
47mm
6497
Molnija
Cortbert

Ok, very good job Franke.
As it wasn't specified yet and some people might have a hard time in finding them, prefixes are located in the advanced search, under "Find Threads with Prefix".
