Looking for a case whose stem would line up with the tube for a Bulova Precisionist movement preferabley without spacers. The movement is 16 ticks per second, high accuracy quartz movement produced by Citizen/Miyota for Bulova.

I have two Bulova precisionist movements that I want to transplant. One is a P102 the other is a P112 - but they are identical. Want to go from an automatic to quartz.

Measurements
Underside of dial to bottom of stem: 1.1-1.2mm
Underside of dial to top of stem: 1.9-2.0mm
Stem diameter: 0.8-0.9mm
Underside of dial to center of barrel (est. 1.5-1.6mm)

I am lost with the meaning of stem height. A google search reveals that stem height of the ETA 2824 is 1.8mm - I don't know what that measurement refers to.

Finding a case for the right movement seems like the first step. I am confident I can 3d print any dimension spacer and movement holder to fit a case. I know I can transplant hands of the correct size. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did anyone respond? I have the same question. I have a 96b158. I’d even just be happy with a dial swap.

Is anyone attempting this project or has successfully don't it? Seems like the idea is there but not a single person done it! It's so simple stick a dial to the movment, put the movment in, get a new stem with the full length, put it in the new crown cut it to size, use plastic holder if needed and close the case!. Not a single person done it yet.
