PP G&S Dispute

Hello everyone. Wanted to post this thread to ask anyone who might know what the best course of action is when getting scammed (Not on RWI, got scammed on another site). Long story short, i paid for a movement, got sent a completely wrong piece of turd DHGate special. I tried to work with seller, got no where, reached out to mods, they couldn't get anywhere with the seller, mods approved to dispute with PP as i've paid with Goods and Services and not PPFF.

Has anyone successfully been able to get their money back through PP? If so, did you post screenshots of messages from the actual forum and what did you specifically say when writing the dispute? I am afraid that if I show messages through a forum, they'll deny it as it's basically having to do with reps and not an actual website or company.

Again, mods, if this type of question isn't allowed please delete it. I am not entertaining the fact people should dispute anything until approval is given by a mod and as a last resort type of thing. I hope everyone respects the forum rules on RWI, but this instance did not take place on RWI. I am just at a standstill and don't know who to ask other than you members of RWI as I'm sure some of you have been/gone through this process and could provide some constructive feedback.

I have had a few wins on PP is it listed a replica, can you show to PP the difference and say you were expecting a gen item. Or vice versa

If that's no good can you make a case that in some way what you received is not what it was listed to be?

Or can you in some way say it is faulty, won't work or do what it is supposed to do?

We're the goods posted with tracking and signiture on delivery?
If no signiture you can say you never received the item. PP and eBay rules are tracking and signature, if no proof of delivery it's a instant win tracking is half the requirement check T & C for what makes a delivery valid I'm.pretty sure it must have a signiture been a few years but I was caught out on this and burnt cause I didn't add signiture on delivery

Hope that helps ....any thing I post even to friends I put Signiture on delivery especially if I insure the item. Otherwise seller has no proof it arrived, tracking says delivered but what if package left at front door and stolen ...signiture is only way to prove
