i'm almost in e process of overhauling my Pam 111E frm an unknown source( bought it frm a local guy but no idea of the source ).. according to him its a swiss rep but alvinado has comfirmed it isnt..

anw, what are e potential issues i might face taking on this project.? what i feel is tt since e source is unknown, i might have probs fitting dial, movement&CG.. hopefully e most i need to do for e CG is filing it abit so e screws align, right.? my question is, how sure can i be tt e dials&movement can fit.?

here's e list of intended mods:-

- relumed & matte finished dial by alvinado
- movement mod( if e movement's engravings arent stuck on )
- either a Toro or DSN CG
- T43 crown ( if i can find it, sources any1.? :) )
- polishing e hairline scratches cause frm my constant strap swapping ( i have 1 pam with 7 straps )
- either AR removal or a taka crystal swap
- canon pinion mod ( can any1 tell me whether i can just use e rep pinion or i have to replace it.? )

if any of e pam experts here can highlight any other probs i might face, i wld appreciate it :) but other then tt, did i leave out anything, guys.?

Asian or Swiss 6497 parts will swap around so no problems there.
cannon can be used just file back of hands down. just a word of caution though some relumed dials are thicker than factory dials so you may be better off getting a H3 cannon set with hour gear. They are a straight fit.
If you are reluming it yourself take care to not use too much lume or you will have trouble fitting the second hand at 9 if it's too thick

cus+0m, have you got some pics of this watch?

Have you considered it might be cheaper to sell the 111E and simply buy a 112H rep?

well, quite honestly, i dont wan to but cux this is1of e reps which i bought b4 knw-ing of RWI&i spent quite a small fortune on it.. kinda dont want to let it go to waste&also i'd be suffering a huge lost as i'd prob get only get 1/5 of e actual cost..besides i screwed up e CG..

i figured tt i'd use some of e existing parts&make it right..

how do i post if i dont have a image hosting website acc.?
