i'm a dood with a 40mm.
my wrist is like 5.8 inches
i have a 44 as well, but the 40 fits more comfortably on my wrist. probably the MP straps i have for it

Too bad the white dial 40mm has that damn short hour hand.
The PAM048/050 is the best option out there, IMO.

yeah the 40 looks like a 44 on a regular sized wrist in terms of proportions.
but i like how the 44's are manuals - wish they had something like that for a 40. meh, guess i'll look into some 42 radiomirs.

I bought a 049 for my girlfriend from member taiji. Its one of her Christmas gifts, so I'll be sure to post some pics here after the holidays. I also got her the 22mm Savage strap that was just for sale in his section. Problem: Savage was out of 22mm buckles, so I just ordered one off the 'bay. No idea when it's supposed to arrive, so I guess she'll wear the black gator deployment. She'll discover her long awaited 049 w/ handmade strap isn't wearable for 2 to 4wks AFTER Christmas :roll: Not one 22mm buckle in my home!
