When a watch has arrived and all is well and good, is it a good thing to contact the TD to confirm acceptance, say thanks etc? Or is it preferred to keep out of their hair unless there's a problem?

My nanny always said manners are free & good manners should be the norm, not the exception.

Saying thanks is always a nice thing, it's simple & takes a couple of seconds.

Also helpful to leave a review in their section.

Often I find members are quick to leave negative reviews, and they sometimes overshadow the positive experiences members experience every single day.

Congrats on your new watch.

I've pondered about that, and the conclusion is that we are becoming old geezers. Many newbies find those diaries useful, so probably we just need to accept it as the change of times. Leave them, maybe some of them will see the light at some point.
What I'm telling you is, yes eventually Reddit will win.

That will be a nice gesture to the TD that he did well.

I always love to receive emails from customers thanking me for the purchase and also how happy they are when they gotten the dream rep watch they always wanted.

Thanks
