Anyone else following this on eBay?
Looks fake to me. The biggest tell on the BB Dark is the high gloss finish on the case sides (the rep factories just reused standard BB cases to save $$$, gen are brushed satin). Second most obvious tell is the pinion hole and third is the hand stack. Any others?
Since the bidding is at $1500 with over a day left, if it's fake then someone is about to be taken for a ride. The worst part is that with the quality of reps these days, chances are the buyer won't even know something is up until they go to get the watch serviced.
I want to believe that the seller made an honest mistake here, but there's a lot of problematic phrasing within the listing: "authentic Tudor deployment clasp" (no mention of authentic watch), "from my personal collection"--> "bought this from a friend," "looks flawless," "good weight," "bid at your risk". And of course, no box no papers (although that on its own is not damning).
