TRUE STORY !!!
Today I let some tears go ... I had no other choice ... or perhaps punch my father-in-law very badly.
Me and my wife are spending a WE at my step-parents home ... 100m from the sea [emoji3]
This late afternoon I showed my father-in-law some pics of his 16610 (Rep) I'm refurbishing since a few weeks.
He's been impressed and delighted and told me he has a badly damaged Military Porsche Design ... a Gen ... bought in 1979 from a Legionnaire just back from Zaire.
When he showed me the watch I was stunned and asked him if she really had jumped on Kolwezi without parachute.
But he replied that no, she was just damaged some years later in a bad car crash (certainly a few rolls over before stopping).
Just have a look at the disaster
I really dont know if I'll accept the challenge.
That said ... If my father-in-law promises to lend it to me 6 months a year then I could be tempted.
For now I'll leave it to him and will decide in September ... Then I'll have some more free time and I will have the guts to see what happened to the Lemania 5100 that hides in there and that certainly is in very bad condition.
