Popped the Pam Cherry!

The mailman rang the doorbell today and as luck would have it i was working from home.

Received this:

Tore it open! More packaging, a lot of bubblewrap!

Like a pack of dogs i destroyed the bubblewrap to find this!:

Oh yeah Toro, that was fast shipping! First PAM, a 177. And first time from Toro, great experience!

And two lume shots that i like. My 35mm lens did a pretty awesome job, and of course the lume is pretty great on this watch.

I'm impressed!

But i have two questions for you PAM freaks:

1) Its loud! i can really hear the ticking. Is this normal?
2) Not impressed with the strap. I need a new one. Suggestions?

1. it is loud, due to the movement AND titanium case. Get used to this

1) i think its normal, but manual wind rep movement very reliable

2) get custom strap and custom titanium buckle, this one my favourite : www.kainheritage.com

Regarding straps there's no shortage of resources, really its the opposite! So i'm grateful for the tips

Nice watch, congrats. My 176 is also very loud. Much louder than my 111. It's a effect of the TI case. Enjoy your watch.

Nice one! Beautiful watch. I have only just ordered my first rep yesterday (Omega Aqua Terra) but am already looking and planning my second one. Gonna have to be a Pam 111 or 177 I reckon. Enjoy the watch dude.
