Thinkbacks, that looks amazing. I am not comfortable messing with the bezel ect (strap adjustment and removal is the most I'll do), so sending the whole watch is what I plan on doing. I would also like to know how much the cost was.
Good to know we can fix this to a true super rep.
I did a write up on how to do it, just takes a little patience and good thumbs.
I think now that Goin has worked on mine, he might be comfortable doing it. He asked me to do it before I sent it to him- which I had no problem doing.
As far as the cost, you'd have to check with Goin, but it's fair to say that the current rate among lumers for something like that is on the low end of over $100. The great thing about Goin is he looked at my movement after he took it out and made me aware of some issues it had. Thanks to SMIDSY, I replaced it with a super nice gen ETA movement.
The watch should be going out in the mail today or tomorrow. Hopefully next week I'll be able to share some wrist shots.
