There is NOTHING wrong with asking questions about non-TDs.
This is one of the methods used to find new TDs.
Yes, it is advised, to minimise risk, that new buyers are best buying from TDs, but if an experienced member wants to try a new dealer, that's great, they can then report on them, and several reports later, we may take notice and note a possible new TD.
At least 5 of the current dealers here were not TDs, or being considered for such, when Admin first bought from them, so without people doing what he did, and buying from non TDs, we would never have these new TDs.
If members want to risk their money, that is their money to risk.
But we ask you to stop with the hate, criticism and belittling of people who choose to purchase outside the TD network.
If we chastise and aggressively question every single post here, it will appear we are here just here to promote the TD network.
Posts elsewhere mentioning non TDs should be moved to this section and this section alone should be the area where non-TDs are discussed.
Yes, some may appear as advertisements, especially when new accounts come on board saying 'X website is amazing you should try it' without any corroborating evidence.
In this instance, instead of engaging, hit the report button and Staff will decide whether it is a shill, or harmless.
Or perhaps engage positively asking for pictures/proof and if none supplied, then antennae could be raised and the report button can be pushed.
If it is a shill, they will be dealt with.
Admin continually receive PMs asking why X member is being rude to Y member, and why there is a toxic culture on RWI at times, but this is something that wastes everyones time & is easily solved. Just don't engage.
Or else this forum will appear elitist, snobby and, in time, cease to exist.
To reiterate, there are many good dealers out there not on our TD list.
RWI is not protectionist, we do not prevent the open discussion of other dealers, because, as can be seen above, it's how we find new ones.
Let this section be a place where dealers are discussed free from ridicule, with the caveat that buyers can spend/risk their money where they want, knowing that they are spending it with dealers that do not have the honour of being an RWI TD.
