It depends which of the two factors is more important to you; function accuracy or visual accuracy. Functionally, the SF with the clone P.9000 movement is more accurate. However, as great as cloning the functions of the gen P.9000 is, it also introduced an inaccuracy of the placement of the subdial post. So in that regard, V6F is more accurate in visual terms. Personally, I would choose accuracy of appearance (which is subjective anyway, but even if I don't see it and others don't see it and they wouldn't know, I would know) but like I said it's very subjective.

Hi mysterious,
I also want to buy 389, and I personally like the independent hour hand setting, but I'm afraid of the flaws.
Can you share to me how wrong is the placement of the subdial post on SF 389 compared to Gen ?
Thank you.

It would be around one pinhead. It is very small.

Plus the PAM389 has a closed caseback so in that regard it's inaccuracy in balance wheel placement @9 would not be seen.

Hi mysterio,

I have ordered 389 by KW/V6. But I was told that 7750 is not available and TD has offered Seagull version instead.
Is this a real issue?

No it is not an issue. The movement isn't really important as first, neither the A7750 nor the seagull version are accurate and second this is a closed caseback model so nothing to see. It is said that the Seagull is easier to replace the movement than it is to repair it compared to the A7750, but that's if and when the watch breaks down.

Thank you mysterio,

Which one is more preferable in terms of reliability?

Cheers
