hi, so i was offered one of my grail watch , the 127 Fiddy, Gen
the owner saids that he lost all the box, and warranty card and certs,
but he claim it's 100% Genuine and give me a full refund if its a rep.
i don't really care about those boxes, certs etc as i really want a gen fiddy , it's one of my grail watch.
i know this kind of questions has been posted a lot , but this one is serious.
i'm the one who want to buy it
the asking price of course is a liitle bit cheap,
well about US $ 13.000 for the watch + original Gen strap and buckle only.

and i've known the seller for quite sometimes, i bought several brand new gen pams from him before.

i just want to make sure wheter this one is legit or not, as i know that's there are a lot of super reps 127 out there, so please advice, thank you.

Looks like a rep to me.
I can't imagine the engravings at the case back and the movement are so bad at a gen...
And the strap is a rep strap, 100%

A photo of the movement? If I were you, I'd be very suspicious... Hardly anyone owning a gen fiddy will lose its box...

those are the pictures that he send me over the phone,
he gave me 100% guaranttee that's the watch is gen, and i can bring it to my local AD to have it check,
i will take pictures of the back case without the stickers when the watch arrives.
thanks guys.

Seller should have the watch authenticated with you at the AD before you buy it.

The caseback is covered with a bad and damaged plastic which deforms the engravings and details
But the Swan Neck is gen, as far as I can see, it has a gen micrometric screw (see two holes for regulation on the head)
Wheels seem gen with nice notches on screws.
PANERAI-PANERAI and OP and FIRENZE engravings are very deformed by the plastic.

And there is a detail in the case that says gen. It is the back inner part of the lugs where the cushion shape arrives just to the back. In reps the cushion shape don't get the back.
See what I'm talking about in below pic

We will wait for better pics mainly of the movement but could be gen

Wow, that's impressive ALE. I really thought it's a rep.

It's REP, check those two Microscrews on Swan Neck, they are much bigger than GEN and coarse. Fiddy is very easy to identify GEN or REP…?(´?`?)

I'm not saying it is a gen
I mean it could be a gen seeing some details
But we need better pics, mainly of the movement, to confirm it
See the inner lug cushion shape and the holes and length of the screw head on below pic

I agree with Ale on this one. It looks gen to me.
As far as I know no rep has the correct inner lug case shape.

The pics and the damaged plastic cover don't allow to see the Swan Neck, therefore we cannot make a definitive decision
Anyway the micrometric screw shows clearly the correct head and regulation holes even with the bad pic
As above commented we will wait for better pics

This is the main point and the only clear with the pics

Could be a modified case, but this is not easy
With detailed pics of the inner surface between lugs, without strap, we would be able to see the truth

Do not buy it before seeing a clear picture without that nasty stickers and plastic covering the entire movement !
I can see nothing with that sillt wrapping, neither gen nor rep.

I'm leaning towards gen on this one. Aside from the points ALE has made, the finish on the movement looks good. The bevel on the edges of the bridge plates look crisp and well polished. The PANERAI engravings look good as well. And the bevel on the hole for the jewel.

But seriously need to remove that green sticker to get more pictures of the movement before going any further.
