Please help!First Rep PAM 000 or PAM 111

Ok so this will be my first PAM rep, I have bought other reps before, but never pulled a trigger on a PAM. I have been doing a little hw and have come up with either a PAM 000 or a 111. I like simple designs.

So which one would you choose?

From my hw I see both have come very far in the rep world, and are great reps. I'm guesing a closed caseback would be more accurate than a crystal one, but accuracy is just one of many factors. I'd love to hear what you guys think, and which one you like best.

Simple one go for the zero. Closed caseback no seconds hands. Nothing to worry about

I prefer sandwich dials, so I would go with the 111

It's literally down to personal preference....! Both are great and very close to the gens. The 111 sandwich dial is very nice but the simplicity of the 000 does it for me

If you can only own 2 PAMS, I would get 111 and 390... go with 111 first, the sandwich dial is iconic for a Pam

I say 111, you have a much better chance of getting a good sandwich dial than sausage.

I know 000 & 005 are classed as "super reps", but I don't think the sausage dials are all that great. If you want a sausage dial I say get the 390, at least from my experience the dial on the latest noob is great.

You could also look at the 112, which is a base model with sandwich dial.

WOW seems opinions are really divided between both and now Khador has gotten an excellent idea the PAM 112, so seems 000 "greatest" giveaway is the sausage dial, and for 111 & 112 is the back. Do I get it right?

Looked at the 390 but don't like the gold hands.

The choice is hard at the beginning, but no worries:
If you like PAMs you will get both and much more sooner or latter.
If you don't like them no problem.

Forgot about this pic I have of a 390 and 005 together (both noobs), lume on the 390 is quite a bit flatter.

I went 111 for my first but if you don't want the seconds at nine then the 000 but my next Pam will be the 390

As ALE mentioned, it is strictly up to personal preference. Sooner or later you will probably end up with a sandwich dial and a sausage dial PAM. I actually prefer sandwich dials as I wear my 111 and 292 over my 390 and 380. But all of them are gorgeous. Just get them all........

I chose 390 between those two. It's a bit more authentic becouse of closed case back and I liked the colour scene of it. But I will grap one sandwich dial soon, actually I've already bought 312 and it's already on it's way to me...

However CG pin sit little high and lopsided (I saw taht already from QC pics) but it was a fun little fix.

I also polished CG top edge , but it was after taking those pics.

Watch run about 30sec/day fast when arrived, but I regulated it and now it seems to keep great time, mayby +3-+5/day. REally stunning piece! I've been wearing this over my gens almost every day since I got it.

Edit: It took few more pics of polished CG edge. What you think should it be more polished? (sorry I don't mean to threadjack..)
