So I am going to pick up a 250 in the next week or so and after doing all my research I have found that Lay has the best one with the new 7753. (http://www.replicamake.com/product_info.php?products_id=2067) Then I saw that Trevor is selling his with the 7750 for a little bit of a better price. (http://www.trevortime.info/product_info.php?cPath=157_161&products_id=1579) Now I wish I could say price isn't a factor here but it sort of is... What do you all think of the new 7753? Is it that much better? Or should I stick with the old 7750. Any input would really help me to relax my mind. And if anyone has any other advice where to pick one up or more options I'd love to hear them. Also do you know if you can mod the pin on the subdials? does anyone sell an ultimate with that mod?

thanks!

great thanks coldi!! do you know of a good dealer besides the ones posted? I'd hate to put you on the spot by asking who's who... but I will merely take it as advice.

I think all new pams with 7753 are basically the same, just pick your own preferred dealer :) ...

fair enough. thanks!

I've been reading a few reviews about the mov't being on the finicky side. Should I be prepared to have this serviced right away or no? I read a review on RWG and it seems like that mov't is pretty dirty and needs oiling straight out of box.

Zig did a review of them. The majority of our mvts are probably dirty lol.

My theory is don't fix it until it breaks, HOWEVER, since these mvts are so new it would be next to impossible to souce the correct parts if it died so it might be worth a service. But be prepared to spend another 200 for it...

FYI, 14060 or 16610? has a service fee list that includes the A7753 in his sub-forum.
