Please can someone enlighten me about PAM Deployant straps?

I am currently waiting for a PAM212 to arrive and I want to buy a better strap for it.

Can anyone tell me what the dimensions of a PAM212 deployant strap are? I don't know if they are 24/24 or 24/22?

What is the difference between a strap made for a deployant buckle and one made for a standard one.

Tom, I think the deployants are all 22mm, so you'd need a 24/22 strap. The difference between straps for deployants and strap for tang buckles is the thickness. I would be a strap that's much thicker than 3mm or so at the tail is going to be too thick to fit in the deployant. So, when you see straps that are advertised as "deployant straps" they are usually thinner through the area where the holes are punched than the rest of the strap.

I see now. Thanks Hooligan - I am having HK Tan make me a strap and there is now way one of those badboys will fit through a deployant. I'll go 24/24.
