I'd like to add a pilot/aero themed watch to my collection and am torn between two watches:

i) BP 42mm Navitimer A23322 (white dial, batons, brown leather strap) - I've always wanted a Navitimer, so am very much drawn to this but am not sure how good a rep BP's effort is - especially as it is a relatively old release

ii) GF Avenger GMT (black dial, arabic numerals, steel bracelet) - TBH, with all the rave reviews, I just really want to try a GF watch.

Two completely different options, I know but what would you recommend?
I'd like to add, I have very small wrists <6"
I've tried a gen A23322 and it fits well so am hoping that the Avenger GMT will fit similarly...

Alternatively, I can just wait until GF release a Navitimer 41 or Premier - does anyone have any news on either of these (Sead seems to think that there is no immediate plan for either from GF)

The Avenger GMT by GF is an exception Rep. Buy the Avenger first and the Navi second. The Navitimer World A24322 by BP is the best Navi Rep but this one is 46mm. My wrist is 6.75" and comfortable wearing it.

I owned the Navi World rep with A7750 . Awesome watch but too big for my wrist. My wife kept saying that the watch was wearing me.. lol

I’ve owned them all and it’s a bit of apples vs. oranges. If your goal is a pilot/aeronautical theme, the Navitimer is the default. Avengers aren’t very aeronautical.

Thank you for your responses guys, at heart it is the Navitimer that I am more drawn toward, it's just the uncertainty about the build quality that is putting me off.
OldNavitimer how would you rate BP's A23322? If you could only pick one would you take this over the GF Avenger GMT?

I have no issue whatsoever with the BP build quality. Every one I have owned - 5 at last count - has been outstanding. I still have a v1 from when they came out (2014?) and it’s bezel is still tight and has no issues. As with any 7750 movement, get it serviced ASAP. The 2836s used in GF Avenger GMTs have been flawless (I’ve had three). The GF is a better watch and a better value from a strictly empirical standpoint. The BP Navitimer is more the emotional choice. You can’t go wrong.
