Gen vs ZF rep, under warm light.
To be fair, the ZF looks mostly blue, and not so purple like on this picture:

Im following this model since years.
I have the previous version, and i also had the one in the picture above. The dial can look a little bit purple, under warm indoor light, but mostly its just blue. However, it is not the same tone as the gen. It really is not.

Blue has got to be the hardest colour to rep no matter what watch it is. Probably best to avoid it.

The 41mm version would be ideal for my slim wrist, I think I'll wait for it to be repped. Since the blue isn't great I'd probably go for the grey spitfire version which also looks very good.

On this pics, the bracelet watch is the ZF? Mine doesn't have that purple hue.

I generally don't care for the accuracy of replication that much. Should look great and a good movement. This rep simply looks stunning.

The one on the bracelet is the ZF and is exactly the same watch as you have. The purple tone is only to see in a certain light.
The camera makes it look more purple than it really is. In real life it looks like on your picture.
It's a great rep, and yes, please enjoy it how it is. I don't care about accuracy neither.
Nobody on this planet will think it's a rep.

It's just that the blue tone of the gen is one of a kind.

I ordered a IW377726 (green dial) a while back and rejected the QC because date/day fonts are inconsistent.

I asked TD to get another one and he responded that he couldn't get it.

So I ended up changing my order to a new 5712.

Still waiting...

If you find one give me a pm haha they have 1 available but it's a 7750 also so the seconds are at 9 o'clock and the lower at 6 o'clock (officially the seconds) is just frozen still. Hoping they manage to make it work without a 7750, because otherwise it's a no go for me. They break easily with complications to make it work.
