Pictorial Review - XF AP 15202

Hi All,

I just wanted to share a few pictures of the XF 15202 which is the latest arrival in my rep collecting journey.

Clearly the genuine piece has hit stratospheric prices & without doubt is out of my reach financially, therefore after doing the due diligence I waited for the right moment to pounce on M2M.

Mine gets worn rarely but does provide a welcome change to the regular rotation.

I'm more of an aesthetics guy who appreciates design over minutia of small details but to me the factory has done a pretty good job on the replication.

It was a pleasure to get the camera out again & I hope you enjoy the shots....

I've put a few genuine ones first for comparison.

What happened to XF?

I always look for a 15202 but they never show up for sale M2M.

I’m a proud owner of an XF 15202 v1 as well as an XF 2000V, I believe that when the raids killed the XF production we lost an incredible rep producer.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks so much for the positive comments.

The shots were captured on a very inexpensive compact digital camera (Sony dsc hx60).

I learnt the tricks from the tutorials here & on RWG.

I use the camera on a small cheap flexible desk tripod, set the timer (tripod & timer mean no shaking when the shutter releases).

Lighting - near my patio doors during daylight (a rare commodity in the UK) & have the ceiling light on. Carefully place the watch not to get reflections.

The photos come alive through some basic photoshop editing.

Really no more to it than that & I'm indebted to the community here for the inspiration!

I heard there were some raids but is the XF Factory for AP totally dead now? Or is there a comeback happening in the pipeline?

DH Gate has the XF 15202 available with the salmon dial. However, I'd be leery about it's validity.
